McGregor's teammate (and close friend) Charlie Ward is the one who killed Joao Carvalho last week.  

According to my buddy who knows Ward pretty well-- he was insanely close to signing a contract with the UFC, and the death of his opponent really messed him up.  Ward was leaning towards retirement shortly after the fight and that's why it wouldn't surprise me if this McGregor thing actually has legs.

In Otto's 12 starts this season, he has averaged 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per 36 minutes. That is a noticeable uptick in his typical production. These numbers are also comparable to what Pierce has been able to produce this season (16.6, 5.4, and 0.8 per 36 respectively).

Those stats really surprised me.  

Admittedly, I don't get to watch many games up here in NYC (maybe 10-12 full games all season and attended two) but every single time all I can think to myself is, "Porter is absolute garbage."  For every good play, I feel like I watch him commit three travesties.

Then, I come to ES and there seems to be a lot of support for the guy.  I trust many of the opinions around here, but what I see with my own eyes is a clumsy + undersized kid with very little confidence.  

I'm obviously missing something and would love to hear some of the positives/negatives from the perspective of more dedicated Wiz fans....

As much as I'm ready for Lawler/Hendricks Part 3, if Dana screws over Rory after promising a title fight I will be pretty pissed.  He's earned his chance to fight for the belt.  Rory will be sitting around for a LONG time if he doesn't get his shot now.

Hendricks should fight the winner of Woodley/Gastelum (I'm predicting a big Gastelum upset by the way) before he gets another shot at Lawler/Rory.  Anything else would be uncivilized!!

Lego Movie is that JAM guys!  I'm not a kid and I don't have any, but this movie had me and my friends giggling like swedish schoolgirls the whole time.  Went with a big group Sunday night and it's still being referenced between us here on Tues

Props to Animal House for the stop motion/CGI hybrid they pulled off.  Nice to see a team other than Pixar pull off such extreme awesomeness in animation!
