  1. I'd like to see a video of all his UFC fights, just focused on him in between rounds. I'm sure someone could do that, and it would clear the whole thing up pretty quick.
  2. lol... at least there's one UFC WW who doesn't whine.
  3. Ok, now the one apparently making fun of the kid with the crazy hair on his face is ****ed up. I saw something on the discovery channel or something about him, and he's going through all kinds of laser hair removal treatments and stuff, but they still can't get rid of all the hair.
  4. The Velaquez fight last night was fun to watch. Both guys came out swinging for the fences. Those knees and leg kicks Velaquez was throwing were brutal.
  5. :rotflmao: LOL! I didn't notice that during the fight... That's hilarious!
  6. :rotflmao: I'll have to add the site to my favs.
  7. Shade in under the eyes and you get an emo Lincoln. That's pretty damn funny.
  8. LOL at Best Buy. I can see the people in there demanding their price match.
  9. I wonder how sure the mods are about that one... If that wasn't him, I really hope that it was just a nephew or something. Talk about creepy (especially since he had numerous conversations and posts that would point to the legitimacy of his age claim).
  10. It was definitely weird... more than a little creepy too.
  11. I guess our Mike is safe with his December birthday then. That was a close one!
  12. I was thinking the same thing about him being gassed. Shame he didn't get hit square on the jaw. He would have got KOed in a second the way his mouth was hanging open like that.
  13. See the thing is Sebowski, that Penn doesn't typically fight at 170. He is best suited to 155, no doubt about it. Just like GSP is best suited to 170 because he walks around bigger than that. It's how the system works. The argument for GSP being high on the P4P list is because he is so much more dominant than any other fighters at 170 right now, people who are about the same size as him. Penn is equally dominant in lightweight. Fedor is equally dominant in heavyweight. Silva is equally dominant in middleweight. So I propose this list of top p4p fighters: 1. Fedor 1. GSP 1. Silva 1. Penn 5. Others... nobody is as dominant at 205 right now as these guys are in their weight classes. But lets just cut the BS and put them all as tied at #1 because right now nobody in their weight class can touch any of them imo.
  14. Is this something that I'll watch and lose a ton of respect for the guy? Bc if it is I'm not watching.
  15. I don't think that now is the time for a GSP/Silva fight, but maybe if he defends again and it's not really a close fight it might be time. GSP is definitely still improving as a fighter (not that I'm saying Silva isn't). I don't think he would be ready for that fight as of right now, but a year from now that might be the most interesting, hyped fight in UFC history (again:)).
  16. I did notice a decline in BJ's guard between round 1 and 2. In round 1 it was way high up on GSP's back, to the point I was worried about a submission. After that round his guard was much lower. It didn't look like he was trying to get it up there and failing, but rather he settled for the lower guard because he was tired. Watching Penn on his back reminded me a lot of my BJJ instructor. He's a really little guy, no more than 5'5" 165lb. But he's soooo incredibly flexible it's insane. I never came close to submitting him, or even being competitive. Every time I got him on his back, he would squeeze that guard shut tight, and it was impossible to break. After that it was only a matter of time before he would get me in a triangle or something.
  17. I wonder if Penn will whine about GSP stealing the fight... I hope he wants another rematch, he'll just get his ass beat again. Although I doubt he wants to get anywhere near GSP and the octagon after last night.
  18. I can see the fight going two ways. First, GSP knows going in he can't just stand up with him, so he takes him down the first few seconds of each round and beats his ass. OR: GSP looks at Alves as a challenge and tries to stand up with him. If it's not going well, then he takes him down and beats his ass. Either way, unless GSP makes a mistake and leaves himself open, and Thiago connects with a few good shots, it won't be much of a fight.
  19. IMO that was the biggest difference in the fight last night compared to their first fight. You saw on the show on Spike how many quality fighters GSP has been training with. All that work definitely paid dividends in the ass whooping of Penn.
  20. GSP has step up his game sooooo much. Who's going to beat him at 170? Nobody. Another fight or 2 like that and he'll step up to 185 for Silva. If GSP keeps improving like this, that will be ONE HELL OF A FIGHT.
