Amazing cast. Based on a play. Funny but the characters are annoying as **** (though completely by design)
I would watch that just because Christoph Waltz is in it.

Unless the ship sinks inside the theater, then I'm not impressed.

"How to Die in Oregon." An extremely depressing, but really well done documentary about terminally ill Oregonians who talk about how they decided to sign up for doctor assisted suicide to end their suffering.
This movie is currently getting 100% on rottentomatoes.com. One of the best documentaries I've ever seen.
I think there should be a whole thread just for documentaries, because there are so many good ones, and it's like a whole different genre from regular movies.

Watched both 12 Angry Men (1957) and The Dirty Dozen (1967) this weekend. I had already seen them both several times, so that should tell you that both are good movies.
Complete coincidence that they both deal with the number 12. Wasn't a theme of the weekend or anything.

Just watched Office Space for about the 100th time. I don't want to "jump to conclusions," but this movie is still pretty funny.

You're a Cowboys fan, what do you know?
Seriously though, as I said in the RTT, I am a sucker for some cheeseball movies, but it really isn't a bad movie. And IMDB isn't right about everything, as I frequent tthat website as often as possible. I don't know if you've seen it or not, but it's not as bad as some people have made it out to be over the years. It is (was) something different though. I would definitely say that it is a little underrated.
At the very least, one can appreciate the fact that they used real actors to play the killer apes. Yeah, it has a little 90's cheesiness to it, but I still liked it.
Yeah I've seen it and could barely get through the whole thing.
Not as bad as See Spot Run though. David Arquette is easily the worst actor the world has ever seen.

Are y'all serious about Congo? That is a HORRIBLE movie!
And seeing the 4.7 rating on imdb, I'm definitely not the only person who realizes this. It is complete garbage.

I started watching with low expectations, but birdhead put on a pretty good performance and it was an interesting story.
How did you see that? It's not released for another few weeks. And I know the release dates for every Cage movie since I'll be guaranteed to be there on opening day.
-
Last one I saw was last weekend...
Don't ever see it. It's awful and we knew it was gonna be awful. That's the whole point. My friends and I go to the opening of every Cage movie so we can laugh at him. My favorite Cage rage scene ever is below. Ignore the subtitles. This is the best video of the whole scene.

Seriously, that **** was tough to swallow. Didn't go down well at all, but it was still very good.

But he is in LA. Wouldn't he root for NEW ORLEANS? Anyway **** **** **** em hard, **** the cowboys.
But he's closer to Dallas than New Orleans!
oh well, carry on.
Actually Dallas ~> Shreveport= 178 miNorfolk ~> Wash, DC= 145 mi
I'm going on driving distance. And you can't drive in a straight line from Norfolk to DC like you can from Shreveport to Dallas. It would take longer to drive from Norfolk to DC than it does from Shreveport to Dallas. Regardless, all I'm saying is that it's not like he lives in California or something.

Oh, a Cowboys fan! How are things in the DFW?
"Shreveport, LA"
Should have known. Go **** yourself and tell your team to do the same.
ya know, it's only 3 hours from Dallas to Shreveport. Shreveport is closer to Dallas than Norfolk, VA is to Wash DC.

Just curious, how do you end up as a Mavs and Redskins fan?
That's like being a Cowboys and Capitals fan.
lol I'm an all Dallas sports fan. Mavs first, but also Cowboys, Rangers, Stars.

Guys
I want to make something clear
I am an Orioles fan who listens to radio all over the country
I am not a Padre fan however I do frequently listen to their radio broadcasts and if I had MLB TV I would most definitely watch Mr Enberg all the time
The reason I wanted the Padres to win was partly because of loyalty to XX 1090 but also the three-way tie that would have happened had Braves lost and Padres won
The three way tie could only have occurred had both the Braves and Padres won.

Rangers and Rays get the shaft with the playoff schedule. Game 1 is 1:30pm ET on Wednesday and Game 2 is 2:30pm ET Thursday. ugh
GO RANGERS
-
If he's able to go one hundred percent, that gives the Rangers a big time upgrade. If they don't take the series, it'll at least go to a fifth game.
He will definitely help us out, that's for sure. Hell, the Rangers may not win in the ALDS, but Hamilton is the best player in the AL right now, and I feel 100% confident saying that. It's too bad he's been injured the last month or he would have won MVP easily. IMO, it will all come down to Game #1. Cliff Lee will be pitching for us on Wednesday for the first game, whether it is in New York or Tampa. If the Rangers can escape with a Game 1 win, then it's ****ing on. We are much improved at the pitching position than previous years, but not good enough IMO to recover from a Game 1 loss from our ace.
