What I liked the best about that play was usually when a young QB w/wheels is forced out of the pocket, and has some open field, their instincts tell them to take off running immediately, however Howell, once he felt his safety was re-stablished he stopped and looked for someone open downfield before committing to running.

Very smart play for a rookie in his first action on the field.

Somebody make that man a steak for his efforts please!

  2. To this:  much adversity has become, overcome.  Your commandeering of this entity remains valuable, and invaluable at the same time.  Appreciations to be given to you, and those that voted for you in regards to this prestigious award.  If you have any questions or concerns email commander@redskins.com

    Thank You for your time

  3. This coaching staff is defense heavy, can we finally bring a 1st round offensive talent on board and let the defensive staff deal with the rest?  Getting another 1st rounder on defense?  Give the offense something to work with please.

I think if Washington brings in a new hastag #AlphaCommand, it will show more fluidity to the name Commanders. It can be military theme, but also space theme and also wolf theme. Three marketing fields that are there for the taking. And those who don't want one field can focus more on the other field.
I even made three logos for #AlphaCommand. All three show the W intact, and include the three DC flag stars.

All three of these are better than anything Washington’s marketing team has trotted out, very nice!

At the end of the day this team is not good at drafting first round wide receivers, and when we do we don't know what to do with them and if they get drafted here their career dies very quickly. So yeah.. I am a little gun shy at taking a WR in the first round.

I’d say this team has not shown a great ability to draft a WR in the 2nd round either.  This draft has to be one of the worst of all time image.thumb.png.f850957db9306730b4a22e1a392251c1.png

  6. J.D. McKissic returning to Commanders one day after agreeing to two-year deal with Bills, per report
One day after reportedly agreeing to a two-year, $7 million deal with the Bills, free agent running back J.D. McKissic has changed his mind and will sign the same contract with the Commanders to return to Washington, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Jags spending spree makes me wonder....which spree were you most excited about at the time?

    2000 - old vets

    2003 - JetSkins

    2004 - Gibbs first year

2006 -  Randel El, Aarchuleta, Lloyd

mine was 2000, because I actually thought we were going to win the Superbowl.

Man I was pumped about that 2006-07 years.  All we needed was a “tall” WR…. Which didn’t pan out with Anthony Mix.  Too bad.

Ah, so you are one of them.  At least you know!  I think Ron Rivera is like most coaches and doesnt enjoy anything until the offseason, and I also think that a fan shouldnt be pretending to be a big bad NFL head coach and would be happier to maybe focus on their actual life and enjoy it when a player on the team they root for plays well.

If you want to live your life like Ron Rivera every minute by all means, but you are going to be miserable and also pointless because hes already doing that job.  Also, I like how you decided to take my words and completely mistrue them to "crowning him" and "an entire line about what someone else might have said that I may or may not have been responding too but completely made up"!  Its okay to relax, some of us already are 😉

Man, I would hate to work alongside you. Such a downer.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery in whatever is irking you.

    Wishing you the best, Godspeed,

Hopefully Washington is the wind beneath your Wings

So, I'm not sure I buy this coordination issue as an excuse. It still smells like an excuse to me. Additionally, if coordination and wind were such a huge factor why did the Pats rookie kicker make all his field goal attempts (he did miss a PAT).

My bet is that the Pats rookie kicker adjusted to the snapper and holder, not the other way around as Hopkins is experiencing.  Just a thought.
