At the risked of stepping on a fire-ant mound, does it matter that the N.F.L. pledges to donate $100 million dollars to social injustice programs?

I don't know about somebody worse. Unless the Irsays has some distant cousin laying around somewhere.
As far as the subject at hand, I okay with the policy. Players did not start being out for the N.A. until after 9-11. The tradition is not that old therefore they can hang in the locker room.
Let's just get back to football!!!!

I am a Christian that has issues.
Not perfect in any stretch of imagination, but who is? You'll be hard press to find anyone in any religion that is.
Use to be Catholic.
- Borrowed this from First Colony. Thanks buddy!!!
- (modified it a little)
- I believe in God, the Father almighty,
- creator of heaven and earth.
- I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
- who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
- born of the Virgin Mary,
- suffered under Pontius Pilate,
- was crucified, died, and was buried;
- he descended to the dead.
- On the third day he rose again;
- he ascended into heaven,
- he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
- and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
- I believe in the Holy Spirit,
- the forgiveness of sins,
- the resurrection of the body,
- and the life everlasting.
- Love Billy Graham. Bottom line to him was The Cross. He loved it, preached it to millions up until his final day. Then he went home.
- Amen

Its okay. We probably shouldn't expect white middle and working class people to give a damn anyway
You do realize they present the highest demographic in watching NFL games. Hence the reason for Ford Trucks, Lite Beer, and Viagara ads!

Like Griffin, but injuries are an issue.
According to ESPN's Michael Eaves, Blake Griffin (toe) may not be ready for the start of the season and could be out until December.
He suffered an injury to the plantar plate of his right big toe in Game 3 of the series against Utah and had surgery on May 1, but we haven't heard much about his rehab since then. ESPN's Ramona Shelburne said she has heard otherwise, as her source believes Griffin will be ready in time for the opener. With Chris Paul joining the Rockets, the No. 1 priority for the Clippers is to re-sign Griffin and the franchise is reportedly ready to offer him a five-year max deal. -

I agree with this somewhat. If the mainstream GOP were willing to maybe lose a few election cycles while distancing themselves from evangelicals overall, it could do them some long term good.
Really think that the GOP would consider committing political suicide? In 2012, a large chunk but not evangelicals stayed home because they could not handle voting for a Mormon, and look what happen.

Before you fix either party, you need campaign finance reform and term limits.
Do away with political ads from both parties would be great.

Serious answer, GOP should go back to the Conservative Roots that made the party likable to conservatives. IMO
You can move on now.

NBC Indianapolis' Bob Kravitz believes the Colts have reached out to ESPN analyst Jon Gruden about coaching the team.
Kravitz also believes owner Jim Irsay has touched base with Peyton Manning about overseeing the team in a John Elway-type role as the GM and top executive. These rumors have been swirling since the end of the season and will continue until Irsay publicly commits to coach Chuck Pagano and GM Ryan Grigson, something he's yet to do. Gruden has said he won't return to coaching unless it's the right situation with a quarterback. The Colts would fit that bill. At the end of the day, these are just unconfirmed rumors unlikely to develop into reality.Things are quiet in Indy does not mean Pagano is safe. I can see Kyle Shanny being looked at for this job.

After the election of 2016, the anti-trumpsters were the ones doing the rioting. But then again riots and civil war are not the same thing.
