actually, she already worked for Space X by a couple of months. You could say he lucked into her. But, he did have the foresight to keep her around. I didn’t give her all the credit. I guess what I was saying was beyond your reach.

Despite your smart ass comment, yes, companies can be made or broke by their hiring decisions. Sometimes, the smartest thing people with money can do is to buy a company, hire someone smarter than them to run the show and reap the rewards. now , I’m not saying Elon has done absolutely nothing, but there is a reason that Shotwell has been with and a part of the top of the company since 2002. The year which musk bought Space X. 
 

To deny she hasn’t had a major role is just silly. Plus she’s in the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame. (This isn’t the reason she’s doing a great job, just put this here for funsies, but yes it’s true.)

I won’t be going further on the matter. 

Gwynne Shotwell is a huge reason that Space X is thriving. It’s not all Elon. The best thing Elon has done is to step back and let her handle most of it. I guess if they need a butthole to be annoying and advertise for them, Elon steps in.

Thanks Larry, I’ll do that. Actually, we have a thread bashing Ercot. That’s something and don’t forget the Cowboys, which I am totally on board with. A lot of people on here come up with solutions on how to make some of our lives even more miserable because of stupid Texas politics. People like LSF (I assume) and I vote and don't feel our lives should be made even tougher by the U.S. i just want to make sure my family gets out if this happens.
 

It’s really ****ty here already. Heat, Ercot, politicians in our bedrooms. I’m surprised we haven’t had mandatory church. I guess that’s in the future.

There are two states I said I would never live in, Alabama and Texas. Where have I spent the last 20 years? Those two states. Ugh…. I hope I never move to New Zealand and enjoy the mountainside and fresh air. That would be truly dreadful. 
 

edit: by the way, I don’t think it happens. But life here will be made more miserable, seems a given

There are a ton of people such as myself that are stuck here at the moment and want no part of this. I don’t want to be further alienated because some people think it’s fun to trash people in Texas. 
 

im worried Texas might build that wall itself if it becomes independent and not allowing people to leave. Im trying to convince my wife to leave, but she has so much going on here that it would crush her career. 
 

my hope is that if this happens, federal employees will be rescued. Yes, I kind of feel like I’m in a hostage situation. 
 

I really hope that all this idiot mess will get shot down soon. The sooner the better.

Last house I sold, 5 years ago, I lived in for one year and made $100,000 on it. $25,000 over asking price. Wish I would have just rented it out because I could buy 2 houses for what that house is worth now.

Them not having psvr 2 support for this just cost them a sale of a psvr 2. I had plans on buying one, but if they can’t even put this on that platform, then what future does the psvr2 even have? Might just save money for the new Nintendo when it comes out. I will grab this game in the future though.
