  1. Now who is next for Forrest? I would guess the guy that Dana has a huge boner for......Chuck.
  2. A few counter-punches? No ground game.....no submission attempts.....no leg kicks. A few counter uppercuts.....one attempt at a slam in the 5th to avoid being choked out. Nothing pushing the action......most everything he did was defensive in nature.....not offensive. That is where I believe he lost the fight......Forrest pushed the action, and brought the fight to Rampage. Rampage didn't really bring much offensively....and let Forrest dictate the fight.
  3. While it wasn't a Wandy-Jardine ass-kicking, I find it hard to believe that there is even one person on earth who could make a case for Rampage winning that fight last night. Maybe the "yeah, Forrest was technically better, but you have to dominate the champ to get the belt" thing could be argued, but imho, even a draw would have been a huge stretch. Bottom Line imho: Rampage had close to zero offense. Forrest had much more offense....and was on the attack nearly the entire fight.
  4. I don't know if if was the 9 mths off that hurt Rampage....one of the negative side effects of the Pride purchase--too many fighters, not enough venues, or if he just took Forrest too lightly. But in all of the years I have watched Rampage, I have never seen him so unagressive before. He just stood there.......didn't seem to have much of a plan, and looked out of shape.
  5. He certainly did enough to bring the fight to Rampage, and to win the fight. What were the two most dominant things of the fight? The Forrest leg kicks......and when Forrest got on top of Rampage. Now what was Rampage's best offensive maneuver of the night? There wasn't one. It was dominant. While not an overwhelming knockout or a complete beat down......he controlled the entire fight.
  6. The early fights absolutely sucked. With that LH division as stacked as it is, there is no reason for such crappy bookings. The main event was freaking incredible. Forrest dominated Rampage from the start to the finish. With the exception of one or two Rampage punches sneaking through.....he did absolutely nothing. Forrest pushed the action, and the kicks to the leg of Rampage were effective. I was able to get a bet in at the last second.....when I saw Rampage shake hands with Wilmer Valdarama? on the way to the ring.......it seemed he might be coming in soft. He was.
  7. This card sucks. After the purchase of Pride, you would think that every card would be unreal. Not the case.
  8. This might have been the greatest Jens Pulver performance ever. Regardless of the outcome. Bottom line--it wasn't enough. Do you really want to watch this loser deteriorate for the next two years before retirement? No, I don't either. Bring on the newer talent.
  9. I have been an mma fan for roughly twenty years. The original Royce Gracie. When you stopped breast-feeding, I was an mma fan. As for Jens Pulver.....he sucks. Where does he go from here? Jens.....make that a super-size, thanks.
  10. Jens sucks my left ass-cheek. If he can't make it at this weight....in this tertiary organization, he is done. Enuff of the crap Jens.....you never were that great, and you suck now, retire.
  11. I'd like to give that judge a leg drop, brother.
  12. I am hoping Bas himself comes back for one more fight. His last one was fantastic, and I agree with you on Kimbo as far as the jury still being out on him. Although having said that.....even Tank Abbott has a little more respect for him after that last fight.
  13. Just google him. Hardcore videos of him fighting anyone in the streets and yards of Miami are all over the net. As far as the UFC pay-per-view went, I was a little disappointed at most of the matches. I had bigger hopes for the Tito fight....as far as action was concerned. Love Silva......now that is the Silva we know and love. He looked like he was back in his prime in Pride. Sherk was pretty boring also.....his gameplan blew, and that right hand did appear to be keeping him from attacking more.
