Its sad to see that. I have a special needs kid that is sometimes hard to deal with. He would never get violent, other than being a stubborn little SOB but no way any kid deserves to be slammed around like that.

The attitude of the student is pretty appalling too. 

Tensing deserves to go to jail but I live in Cincy and what is making me sick is that this Dubois was a POS too. 50 drug arrests and they found a pound of weed in his car and lots of cash. But he is being celebrated like a angel. Flagrant lawbreaker and just all around crap person. Can't believe he was walking around free.

Just whelmed on the bvs trailer. After the SW that was a big letdown.

The real Star Trek is still the best... next gen had a few limited moments but DS9 was pretty great. Had a plethora of great dark characters that outshined the do-goody mannequin bores in Next Gen and Voyager. They finally had the balls to have all out wars and the serial story telling was terrific.

The original is still the best but ds9 was a close second imo.

Well, looks like people will have to stfu about Snyder at least in regards to this matter.

I just finished catching up with Arrow and the Flash... Arrow is pretty good... has the CW Cheese feel but still fun stuff. Flash has improved from the first few episodes and the Reverse Flash is pretty awesome... cant wait to see where that goes.

I am not a comics guy at all but love the animated shows - Superman, justice league... but don't know many of the 2nd tier heroes. Suicide Squad looks interesting... but I have been waiting for Superman/Batman - Justice League since I watched the Superfriends in the 70's...

I do think it is approaching superhero overload in general now... too many shows and movies...

Taken 3... Well... Taken 1 was awesome.

Nothing like a quality steak.. did these a few weeks back.. Porterhouses. Asparagus and potato wedges... all the steak needs is some simple seasoning... if its a quality cut, no need for anything else.

Homeland. Its been unbelievably great this season (season 4). The first 2 were excellent. #3 very good but #4 has been excellent.  

As I rule I tend not to trust anyone I don't know.  People lie to get attention, they lie to get ahead, and often they lie for no damn reason at all.  If there is something people can lie about, there are people lying about it.  People even confess to crimes they didn't commit, and I'm not talking about the types of confessions that come after torture.  Hell, not too long ago people were working hard to fake crop circles so they could tell the same damn lies as complete strangers about aliens.  Lying liars everywhere. 

 

I've read about these accusations and when they occurred however and they seem legit to me.  I wouldn't be shocked if one, or a small few of them were total bull**** just seeking to get in the papers, because the world is filled with awful people.  I would be surprised if all are more of them were lying in this situation.  The accusation have come over too long a time period for this to be some sort of attention grab, and a comedian talking about this randomly is the only reason it got any attention. 

 

Also Cosby doesn't seem shocked or angry about it.  Too bad that he can't be charged, because if even one of these is true he deserves to be ruined and jailed.  Just having his good name damaged is no where near enough.   

cant argue with your assertion that liars are everywhere... but in this case I saw the interview the woman gave and she seemed legit - doesn't mean she is, just my assertion. If Cosby is as cold blooded as these women say he is: drugging and raping them, then nothing he does would surprise me...

Janice Dickinson was on Howard stern in 2006 to promote her book and in the interview she said that she wanted to include something about Bill Cosby that her publishers lawyers wouldn't allow her to at the time. Very interesting stuff.

Hope this results in women coming forward more often about assault. I do understand their hesitation....A guy like this is a blight on men and society in general.

Its sad he got away with it for years. I totally believe the stories, at least the one I heard from the first accuser. She has nothing to gain and besides who would want to go through all of this for nothing? A brave woman.

For the hetero men on here.... Started watching season 2 of Orange is the new black.. wow - the lesbian sex scene factor is really upped for the year.

The show is really good so far (after 6 episodes).

Note episode 5 for the german chick... wow!

I just got into Dexter - through season 2 and its pretty addicting. Disturbing as hell sometimes but very entertaining.

I could never get behind TNG much either. It was awful the first couple of seasons but did get much better and there were some really good episodes later on, especially the last one but other than Data the characters were kind of lame. At the time I remember someone saying they were the PC space cops and it made them root for the Klingons. They were all such goody-too-shoes. so boring.

I recently rewatched a few of the original series episodes and they were so much richer and so well written. "Amok Time" was on recently, where Spock and Kirk are forced to fight to the death... wow - it was one of the best episodes... Nimoy tore up the screen, the Music was incredible and of course, Kirk's shirt was ripped. For a nearly 50 year old show, many of them still hold up.

I liked DS9, it had the most interesting characters and stories of the more modern series. Voyager was ok at times but the characters and actors were so bland... Enterprise was a mess.

It would be interesting to see a new series from a writing crew from a show similar to Breaking Bad or Walking Dead. they can get away from the standard star trek bs with a fresh take and interesting characters..

House of Cards is excellent, almost done there.

The wife and I just started watching the Killing (from AMC). Only 4 episodes in and its great. I understand new epidsodes start in June.

I am about 15 episodes in on Arrested Development. Its pretty good. Some really funny stuff and a few eps that arent as good but overall, solid.

Netflix is the best value in the country. great stuff.

Definitely Sons of Anarchy... I am hooked and spent most of the last 4 days watching... I am almost done with season 2 and its great.

The best shows on now are Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Mad Men and then Game of Thrones.

Season 3 of Walking Dead - especially the first few episodes were amazing.

Breaking bad - the train heist episode from last summer was one of the greatest episodes of a tv show ever to air.

I just started Sons of Anarchy, which I haved enjoyed so far.

I am also finishing up season 2 of Falling Skies - that is pretty good but a little shaky...

I also watched a few episodes of Firefly, which I found to be really boring and dont get the love there.

Also Arrested Development - only 2 episodes in and its just ok.

I have a 2004 Ford Explorer - the battery light keeps blinking. It says in the manual "battery not charging correctlly."

Would this mean I need a new battery or is it something else, like the alternator - or just maybe the cold? Its been in the teens and 20's for the past week.
