Just to highlight a couple points:

1) Cena isn't much of a rapper-type anymore. Now he's just a "hero." He's constantly saying how he "never backs down" and he fights for the "moment." He also does this salute when he comes out, which really pisses me off. This guy's no Marine. And when he came out to that U.S. Marine Corps drill, that pissed me off even further.

Thank you SO much for mentioning this. This bum Cena has been given special entrances since WM22. I hate when he does that salute. The guy panders so much, his promos are stupid, and his facial expressions are so cartoonish. Add to that, EVERY match (and buildup) is the same: some guy who gets the upperhand throughout the match build, stupid Cole & King worried if Cena can "overcome the odds" for the billionth time, and during the match, Cena gets whooped early, only to get his "Six moves of doom" in and find some way to "pull out a win." Now he's a 9-time champ....in a 5 year span?!?! That helps cheapen the WWE & World Heavyweight Titles a ton. I remember when Bret Hart defeated The Undertaker at the '97 SummerSlam, became a 5-time WWF Champion, and thinking, "Wow, this dude is in elite company; tremendous accomplishment." Now, he probably doesn't rank in the top 10 of WWE/World Title reigns all-time.

With Shawn Michaels gone, I'm going to find it hard to really root for anybody. Jericho is alright, Edge would be perfect if they didn't make him a babyface (and that stupid "Spear!" storyline). CM Punk is probably my fave now since he's a solid wrestler and delivers solid promos. This 12-month period is going to be very crucial to the progress and success of the WWE over the next 3-5 years. If I'm looking at ANOTHER WrestleMania with John Cena defending or going for the title again, Vince can look elsewhere for $54.99

Now that Shawn is gone I'm officially done with the WWF.

HBK-Taker....what can I say that hasn't already been said? Two of the greatest proving that they provide another 5-star caliber match. That ending was deep; Taker kinda broke from his character and showed remorse, and that last Tombstone: OUCH! I'm biased, but Shawn Michaels is THE greatest wrestler of all-time, hands down. WWE loses one of their top guys...

MITB: pretty crappy if you ask me. The Airbourne was basically top rope-level, and a few botches (no high spot from Shelton?) Nice surprise with Swagger winning (I was rooting for Christian)

Sheamus vs. HHH: ok match. Sheamus held his own, but I couldn't see Triple H losing this one

Jericho vs. Edge: something was missing from it....maybe the stupid "Spear! Spear! Spear!" buildup or casting Edge as a face.

Punk vs. Mysterio: WAY short. Punk is gold, hopefully he gets his revenge at Extreme Rules (April 25 in Baltimore)

Batista vs. Cena: ANOTHER special entrance for Cena (ugh), and another title win for Cena (ugh!). With Michaels now gone, and Edge being a dull face, either Punk or Christian or someone better get a huge push to make me care about ordering WM 27

I'm starting to wonder if WWE should go back to running a few WrestleManias in arenas. WM 26 didn't look like a complete sellout, and unless some stars are built in the next year (stop with all the Cena love!!), I wonder how the attendance will be in the new few years if WWE continues to hold WM in domes/stadiums.

Dang it, I was too tired and fell asleep before Global Impact 2...how was it?

Three thoughts about WWE Bragging Rights:

1. People will actually pay $40-$50 to watch John Cena "wrestle" for an entire hour....glad that I get to stream PPV's for free

2. The tag match they talked about for Bragging Rights REALLY sounds like a page from Survivor Series

3. Poor ECW...they're not cared about to be in the PPV

They gave Orton the title back tonight. Damn!!

I'd rather see that than Cena "overcoming the odds" AGAIN (ugh) and come in to tonight's Raw not selling any injuries....

The match booking of the PPV was very confusing and random....I wonder what the main focus will be on Raw....

CM Punk is on a roll now...it's about time WWE let him loose and cut all these great promos. If only this Taker-Punk matchup had been built up over some time; although I expect some swerve in either the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship match.

There are never any really memorable matches anymore in the WWE.

Only one from this year was HBK vs. Undertaker at WM25, and none of the announcers have mentioned it yet
