  1. A coach with a "Run-focused Principle"

Like a lot of bad decisions from Ron. I wonder what made him think a Pass-Focused (Pass-happy) OC would work in the NFC East?

Way too many things wrong with such a decision.

Including why the Defense has regressed...

...yes, the offense hardly sustains drives and the defense is back on the field giving the opposing Offense multiple chances at breaking them down.

    Hire a new GM.

    Hire a "Run-focused Principle" coach.

Yeah, you have to go with Sam for another year. He has played well at times and looked better in his first year starting than some others who went on to become great QBs. There are a lot of guys on this roster who have never played well that need to be replaced first.

Next year is a rebuilding year… If Sam shows that he is your guy, great! If he’s not, then you’re picking high.

I agree with you. He has looked better than some of the first-year QBs (guys with less than 17 starts).

I like what I have seen of Sam.

Disappointed that EB hasn't done enough to shield Sam and manage him properly.

No QB can drop back that many times and not make enough mistakes to look bad.

He needs a complimentary run game.

Tepper is the new Snyder.  He will have to overpay to get anyone.  He's in the position Snyder was and will have hard time getting anyone good to come there.

Davis is willing to give control, so I can see him luring some retread like BB.

I like David Tepper. I like a man who is ready to move on from his mistake(s) and not hold onto it because of how he is going to be perceived by the public.

    Make a mistake. Own it!

    ...and pay for it.

I don't really have an issue with Jason Wright.

I'm biased having met him before a few times and seeing him speak. He's not the problem.

Then you haven't been paying attention to his long list of faux pas.

And most are avoidable errors if one pays attention to detail.

"Everyone's shooting for Washington," one personnel executive said of the Commanders not-vacant GM position.

Washington has a healthy salary cap situation, good draft picks and an ownership group that -- admittedly not even a half-year into its rule -- appears competent. There's an allure to a job in Washington that hasn't been there for a quarter-century.

Considering Harris' background, a league source tells CBS Sports that any candidate with an open-mindedness to data and analytics will likely be a plus.

The Team President should also be on the list of people that should be fired.

  5. I don't know why people keep saying it is a bad idea to fire a coach with a history of being a poor coach in the middle of the season.

He is what his record says he is.

The team is not going anywhere. Why not use this opportunity to evaluate if Eric Bienemy should be kept and elevated to HC?

What is the worst he could do?

Lose the remaining games? ...and get better draft position.

In the offseason, I will fire Ron, his coaching staff, the two GMs, and most definitely the Team President.

The Team has to be rid of any stench of Daniel Snyder.

Has there been a more disappointing unit in recent years than this years WR group? They consistently drop passes and struggle to beat man coverage. We haven't had a single WR break 100 yards in a game yet this year. Its a massive need for us. I'd argue its actually our biggest need on offense(maybe tied with TE, I do think Logan Thomas is solid but he's aging and getting expensive). I know people will scream OL, but I think one of the reasons Howell holds the ball too long is because the WRs don't get open donwfield often enough.

    The drops are worrying.

But the reason we don't have a 100-yard receiving day by a receiver is because of the design of the offense.

Don't be shocked if the D plays better without Sweat and Young.

    It happened before.

And how could they play worse?

Really curious to get an extended look at Toohill, who has four sacks already with not nearly as many reps as Young or Sweat.

They will play better because there are no two cowboys looking to pad their stats in order to get paid.

I would like to see 50 and 55 on the field on passing downs knowing that they have closing speed.

Well I’m kinda pleased we’ve moved on. Soured on me over time. Doesn’t come across as a guy driven to be the best.

    BS.

He was coming off a major injury on both legs (knees). That is what made his trade value low. Not his play.

The thing you all fail to understand is that this coaching crew are not good at putting their players in the best position to succeed.

Had we drafted Micah Parsons, he would have been asked to do things that are different from his strengths as a player.

Things that make him a terror to opposing teams. When you watch the Cowboys they move him around to exploit the weakest part of the OL.

They just task him to make plays.
