I think the significance of this can't be overstated.  I've frequently seen the election of 1800 cited as the most significant in US/world history, since it was the first time (ever, anywhere) a losing party peacefully transferred power to a winning one, after a hard-fought and bitter election campaign.  The peaceful transfer of power became a hallmark of this country, and a guiding North Star for the rest of the planet.  It was what made America great.  That ended in 2020.

That's not her point, at all.  Her point is that the harm done by marginalizing, stigmatizing, and punishing a group of kids who are already threatened and vulnerable is much greater than the harm done by allowing them to participate in sports.  Someone's gonna get hurt, either way, and she would argue (and I would agree) that inclusion should be the default and that the degree of cruelty in the response is not merited by the magnitude of the "problem" incurred by including trans girls in sports.  

megan rapinoe has thought more about and fought for womens sports and equality issues than nearly anyone else on the planet.   I’ll defer to her expertise.

J Worth is just pounding beer after beer, after telling some fun Zim stories and teasing Kolko.  Great TV, barely paying attention to the game.   

They think releasing the records would be more embarrassing than sitting back and doing nothing while letting kids die.  How bad are these records?  wow.

1000% agree.  Will always be a hero for 2019.  That team doesn't win without every inning he pitches.  It's all gravy from here.  I'd love him to be good again, and I'm sure he wants it too.  But if it doesn't happen, so be it.  2019 was magic.  It wasn't just a WS championship - that was the most joyous, lovable, delightful team I've ever rooted for, in any sport.  Love them forever. 

Had a grad party for my oldest.  3 minutes before this picture, it was a 15lb brisket, 3 racks of ribs, and 3 lbs of wings.  Then 9 18yo boys happened.  Like piranhas swarming an injured fawn.  

I have never watched one minute of pro wrestling or seen any of his movies, but I’m now a huge John Cena fan.
