Welp, he just handed the race to Moore on a silver platter. Those few GOP diehards who can't vote for Moore now have someone else to vote for without helping his opponent.
I knew this was coming. the GOP establishment may not like Moore, but they care more about keeping the seat - even if Moore is sitting in it. This will allow them to look like they still have some integrity. lol

The thing about emails is that they go to multiple recipients. People have been poring over Hillary's emails, and Podesta's emails, and all of the other stuff leaked by guccifer and others for over a year now, and they still can't find a single thing that adds up to anything.
You know what that means, don't you?
*umm that she deleted some personal emails the same way everyone else does when they get....*
No no no! What it means is that not only did Hillary delete all the incriminating emails, but she managed to delete them from every one of the recipients' email records as well. Because she is a super-hacker the likes of which we have never seen before. !!!

Well damn. Still seems to be somebody that is studying the dots and putting all the stories, people, and pieces together very well. He sources most of his tweets
I'm not saying he's wrong here. I'm saying he is just another guy, and he has been really wrong about stuff in the past because he makes assumptions and tweets them out as facts.

Does Seth Abramson have any credibility?
No, not really. He's not a genuine reporter, nor is he an actual politiclal insider.
He is a Bernie Bro who does a lot of wishful thinking.

Confess that I haven't waded through all of the muck. But somehow I'm willing to bet that twa is now valiantly arguing that:
1). Bill Clinton propositioning 25 (I'm guessing about the age) year olds, and Roy Moore propositioning 14 year olds, are the same thing.
2). That he is still outraged over one, but is actively trying to suppress discussion of the other.
3). And that this proves that the Dems are hypocrites.
Actually, I think he is referring to Juanita Broddrick, which if you believe her, was a lot worse than just inappropriately propositioning women or otherwise behaving boorishly.
I have been doing a lot of thinking about this lately, and I think there is a lot of truth to the criticism that we Democrats circled the wagons around Bill Clinton far too much.

I'm softening on Al Franken because the Tweeden story doesn't seem to be holding up well under investigation. I'm not softening on other people on "my side. I think each situation has to be looked at separately, and the Franken one is kind of weird. But I'm not exonerating him either.

I'm not sure you hold the entitled crown anymore. The new guys have decided languages need to change to satisfy their political beliefs, and sadly not just there own damn language. English makes no sense anyway so changing a few things might improve it overall, but I now have to deal with "latinx" because Americans decided my Spanish was sexist. That's next level entitlement.
hey which one of us is the grumpy old man here? sheesh. I'll get off your lawn, ok?
You really think that compares to the real issues we are talking about in this thread?

Since we don't have a dedicated thread for the Alabama Senate Race, here is an update.
The race is a dead heat. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2017/senate/al/alabama_senate_special_election_moore_vs_jones-6271.html
RCP average shows Not-Roy-Moore up by 0.2%, but still, this is Alabama so you gotta think Moore wins.
yeah, this means Moore wins by 15% at least

Russ shot 6-18 but gobbled up 13 defensive rebounds. So...it was a great night for him.
13 defensive rebounds - probably 12 uncontested. All the big men on OKC block out and leave the rebounds to Russ.

I don't like labeling players as chokers or clutch, but Harden's play in the playoffs is lacking.
Meh. Not buying it. In the playoffs teams could focus on him because Houston lacked enough other talent.
Russ is an inefficient statpadder. Harden is an incredibly efficient force.

that's because Russ is an inefficient statpadder

Conyers too?
An Icon of civil rights, but I guess it was only racism issues that concerned him, not sexism. Sad.

It appears that we men have a difficult time balancing our caveman ancestry wiuth the requirements of modern civilization. It cuts across party lines, social lines, financial lines, racial lines, educational lines. I bet a good percentage of the men responding in this thread are conveniently forgetting things that they themselves have done.
I would have guessed Trump or Moore or Weinstein. I might have guessed Al Franken. I would never have guessed Charlie Rose, not in a million years.

All of this is a reasonable position. I disagree with it gaining them nothing except the loss of seats. I think drawing a clear contrast with the party of Trump & Moore will win you some votes. I think I'm just more willing to jettison individuals than you.
Plus, who is to say the list of Franken accusers will stop at 2. Dems lose their shot at drawing any kind of distinction until they wait until accusers 3, 4, 5 etc come out of the woodwork.
Yep. One of the biggest problems we face as a country right now is lazy both-sides-ism. You don't want to encourage it any more than you possible can.

Not saying that any of these men are innocent...most likely they are guilty.
How often are men harassed by women ? Folks ignore it.

I was 100 percent sure of it.

Lebron may not have that many years left, but he is not "on the downside" in terms of performance. The guy continues to play at a superhuman level.
With that said, I doubt he has any interest in going to the Lakers and holding the hands of that green and mismatched roster. He wants more rings before he retires, and that is not the way to get them.
