'Picklemeadows' is the area the MWTC is located at. I thought it looked like Bridgeport....awesome training there...I got to go twice, although the 2nd time, the CH-46 I was in crash landed which damped my enthusiasm a little bit. What unit were you in Wally (and apologize if we've had this discussion before?)?

Cool Wally, thanks for sharing....I was at Fuji twice, and never made the climb to the top ....wish I had. Is that other picture also at Fuji or are you at Picklemeadows (Mountain Warfare Training Center)? Those bring back some memories.....

I had a Lt. buddy in the USMC named Billy Watkins (William C. Watkins to be exact)...he actually went to a professional wrestling school (YES - apparently there really is such a thing). He did some wrestling as William 'C what you been missin' *****' Watkins. No Lie. Great guy, but he ended up in the Marine Corps anyway. And I think you've got him beat here Buster. :laugh:

Alright Gunny Kaneohe is one of the few 'nice' places the Marine Corps has to offer (short of barracks/guard duty overseas that is). Spent 3 wonderful years there (or should I say, my WIFE spent 3 wonderful years there and I got to keep my stuff there ). Make sure you tour all the islands there while you can. I never did and wish I had now. Semper Fi Mac. Oh. And its never to late to get right with the Lord. The Eagles ???? Go towards the light Westbrook, go towards the light :halo:

I dug the white dress uniforms.....other than that, the dress uniforms are the most uncomfortable....I couldn't even stand alphas.... One of these days, we'll need to start a 'Roll Call' thread and see what everyone here did in the military....sure we'd have some amusing stories there. Btw...for those reading this... You know he is....and yeah, they always end up slipping and ending up in the crack....uh....well, you know what I mean. Trick was wrapping them around your legs...... I don't always miss the USMC. But their uniforms are so tight. Mod charlies with the dress blue trousers my personal favorite.
