I don't care about anything Kaepernick does.  He could pour gasoline on himself and light himself on fire before a game and I would just shrug my shoulders a go back to doing what I was doing.

They cant spin this offseason as anything other than trying to salvage a .500 record.

Considering EG's draft history, it's probably good we got Morris out of the pick.

So I am listening on tuesday as Czaban whines about how he didnt stay up to watch the NCAA final because of "choices he's made".. meaning his early morning show.. so he went to bed.

Galdi wanted to know why he didn't DVR the 2nd half and watch in the morning.. and Czaban whined he would rather sleep that extra hour.

 

well, why am i supposed to listen to this guy talk about sports, exactly?

he doesn't know.. he could not be bothered to watch the championship, of all things, even though it is his JOB to talk sports.

Couldn't be bothered because his "life choice" to discuss SPORTS on the radio conflicts with him actually knowing anything about the sports he must discuss.

 

I don't get his schtick. "I know nothing and don't care."

 

Color me sarcastically overjoyed to have him and Andy Pollin back. Glad I'm out of the car by then.

Andy Pollin is like a ****roach that won't go away.  He's like listening to a 70 year old woman do sports.  Let's do birthdays and lists of crap that happened in the 1970's nobody cares about.

Is anyone else excited about Barcelona vs. RM this weekend?  Anyone think RM can win?

It's sad how things fell apart. Wizard fans were so optimistic at the end of last season. Was the loss of Pierce really that big a factor? Was it the injuries? Everything else seems mostly the same.

I think if Beal were healthier (looks like that will never happen), Wiz would have more wins than losses.  They got more our of Nene last year, plus Pierce.

So the Wiz do a major rebuild and draft Wall, Vesely, Beal, and Porter.  Not even close to competing for a championship with that core. 

Get a new GM and try another rebuild, it's all you can do at this point.

This team is Wall, Beal, and a bunch of other guys.  The Wiz somehow need to attract a top notch free agent to come here.  We'll just have to keep praying that KD comes to DC.

The second Bryan Wilson commercial had me dying. 

We need to be expecting 50+ wins out of this team though. They absolutely have the talent to do that. They flat out underachieve during the regular season. Destino is right, they don't bring consistent effort every game, and that's the core problem.

Plus most of our role players suck right now.

I'm think I'm going to expect 35 wins.  After Wall, Beal, Porter, and Gortat, I really start to not like what they put out there.  If one of their top 4 get hurt, they're screwed.  If a couple of the top 4 have an off night, they're screwed.

Listening to Andy Pollin is listening to a mix of a cliché Jewish mother in law and a spoiled brat kid who stomps and throws a tantrum when the others tell him to shut it.

The word "sucks" does not even begin to describe this hacked out whiner.

Reid has shown me that he is not always just beating a negative drum, he's making some analysis based on what he is seeing and not pursuing an agenda as he had been.

Pollin.. his act is thin.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who feels that way about Pollin.  Today I got to listen to him do his stupid birthdays and then talk about Fantasy Island coming back.  It's like my mother-in-law ended up on sports talk radio.

If every person who hears voices in their head is going to go out and shoot a bunch of people then we need to rethink the 2nd amendment.  We aren't there yet but it looks like that's the direction we are moving in.

"I hate the world so I'm going to kill a bunch of people" is getting more and more popular.

Because I was playing my son in FIFA on the PS4 so much, I took the plunge and started following Arsenal. I can't believe I've been missing out on soccer all these years.  Can't wait for Arsenal/Chelsea tomorrow.  Should be great.  Unfortunately my son is a little punk and loves MU so I watch them every week too. 

980 has gotten pretty weak.  I turn on the Man Cave and I have to listen to Andy Pollin do birthdays.  Pollin is the Chris Berman of 980, he just won't go away.  The only time Cooley and Czabe are any good is when Cooley does his player breakdowns.  Galdi is a nice guy but sooooooo boring.  I spend more time listening to other things than sports talk now.

Isn't the easiest solution to all of this is to just teach people to be respectful and cooperative with police?  Use your manners and do what they say.  Mouthing off, threatening, running away from, and attacking the police doesn't seem to end up well sometimes. 

I guess the other way do to it is to install cameras everywhere, have better written laws, train our police more, punish our police when they snap... That way people can use their rights to be mouthy and uncooperative. 

This needs to start being Wall's and Beal's team.  If guys like Nene and Pierce get their feelings hurt because they don't get the ball enough, too bad.  Golden State's backcourt is tearing it up and look at the results there.

It seems like Butler has forgotten how to shoot.  How does that happen?  His coming of the bench and lighting things up really helped this team.  Now he's a liability.

Fortunately the Wiz only have to play against one winning team in the next five games.  They can rack up some more meaningless wins.

A traffic square like that wouldn't be able to go two minutes without an accident in America.  Drivers here are too stupid and impatient.

The drafts in the Bruce era have been putrid.  We have very little good young talent on this team.  Morris, Robinson, Kerrigan, and Breeland are good, that's it.

It's looking like RG3 is going to be disastrous for this team.  Three 1st rounders and a 2nd pissed away.

Our oline, dline, and safeties completely stink.  How can you put together such terrible units?

The Skins decide to build their offense around high dollar WR free agents and neglect their oline.  Has that worked for any team in the NFL?

I'll eat just about anything and not complain about it but I think OG is about as bad as it gets.  I have no idea how they are still in business, their food is that bad.

There are too many good non-chain Italian places to go to ever want to eat at OG.

We gave up crap to get crap.  Whatever.  The drive to win 40 games is still on.

Wizards have two recent lottery draft picks that don't play in home blowout losses

This team is a joke. They are going all in just to win 40 games.  Porter is 35th in rookie scoring right now.  A high school kid could have done as much with a 6th, a 1st, a 3rd, and a 3rd as EG has.

It feels like this team is going all-in just to be a .500 team.  It doesn't make any sense.  Is it realistic at all to assume that Ariza will be back year?  Why not sacrifice a few wins and let Porter get minutes?  There is a 99.999999999999% chance it will be the Pacers or Heat from the East anyway.

Awesome.  Beal was clutch and Melo was an idiot.  Doesn't get better than that.
