We'll just have to wait and see if that plays out as true. They have to say something about this class, and most of them aren't watching eurohoops or G-league. Maybe it is a weak class. Maybe some 2nd rounder this year becomes a Jokić. It's not likely but to say flat out how weak the class is...... I don't know. Because some of these guys are like 18 and 19. I wish we could see a reminder for 4-5 years here to come back and look. I think having the 2nd overall isn't worst case. I think if it is the weakest draft ever and we had #9 again, that could be the argument. 

They have the 2nd pick and 26th pick in the 1st. Then what? 51? It's going to be interesting. 

it would be nice if Winger/Dawkins could make what felt like the impact Harris and Peters are doing with the Football Team. But that just doesn't seem realistic. I know they came in before this season and were able to get started with some moves to free up cap and prepare for tanking. But, I wouldn't be shocked if this offseason they spend to get to the league min. and with draft picks, go very young thinking it's going to be another tank year.

Still, I'm willing to see how this plays out. After so many years of going all in for a low seed for Ted. I don't know who thought building a new foundation and then going from there was going to be a 1 or 2 year deal.

He was the 3rd string on the John Thompson show. So, he didn't get a ton of talking time except during football season. But as he got more and more time, we started to learn that he doesn't put in the work to be a better radio host. I don't expect him to memorize names of players across many leagues. That's why the better hosts take notes when they watch games, so they aren't stuck pretending they know what they are talking about and making up a nickname that may have nothing to do with that athlete. 

For a guy who talks about expectations of the football team. He doesn't hold himself to nearly the same level he expects.

Saw the Davey note that he wanted to pull Robles but Winker's back was an issue. As much as my gut says, they let him go, someone else picks him up, and he doesn't improve with a new team. It's time. Thank you for 2019. You did contribute a lot to that title. But it's time. Too old to be making stupid mental mistakes and hurting your team a few games in a row.

Davey a few days ago made some comments about Wood:
 

since this comment, I believe a few of those blasts were against lefties. I know Davey was looking to say something/anything as a reason to keep him in AAA, and that kind of backfired immediately. Even last week on Mr. Tony, Barry Svrluga said that if Wood came up right now, he'd probably be their 2nd best player immediately. 

If they bring back Gallo and he stinks it up while Wood is crushing still in AAA. That's going to suck. 

With college hoops being full of 1 and dones and the portal, then the G-League and all these International prospects. I don't know how people scouting the draft can accurately say what kind of class it is anymore. The amount of work looking at these different sources of players and understanding the production vs. Competition. Do not envy the actual team scouts and GMs. The TV people can afford to be way off. 

After that stupid moment, he could have been sat down for the rest of the day to just watch and nobody would have said that's the wrong move.

Fine is relative. They aren't investing much into quality. So they probably are fine with the results.

Nah. If that were the case, podcasts wouldn't been taking more and more listeners from radio. 

Right now 980/1067 are running a bare bones operation. 3 and 4 hour long shows. Engineers being dragged in the air to help fill time. Way too many caller segments. Chris Russell who still can't form complete sentences and Doc Walker who must fill in for free. It's like Dan Snyder is running that ****.

The quality of the 2 Audacy stations in DC stink. We know that. We bring it up every few months. They don't have other quality hosts/shows to fill 1 station for a full day. But they go ahead and do 2.

I heard Mr. Tony say it this way today "I don't want to say I'm optimistic yet, but I'm not pessimistic.' when talking about the current big league team. Got me thinking that was fair for the moment and how it could flip to optimistic if/when Wood comes up and if/when Gray comes back and hopefully is right...... And.....
