Rob Mexico
Who wants to join me in Rolling Thunder? All motorcycles are welcome. I am trying to put a group together to ride with. Let's show respect to the heros that have fought for our freedom. Who will join me?
mikebike
Where are you going to meet up at? Do you know the time frame when to meet up and when everything is done. I got a sportbike Honda cbr 954. Mike
Rob Mexico
I have not decided where to meet up yet. Right now it is just me and my gf that are going together (she will be on the back of my bike). I am hoping to get a few more bikes together for the ride. We would ride to the Pentagon around 6:30am and then the rally actually starts at 12pm. It is a great experience. Rolling Thunder is an all day event. Are you interested? Capt. Kaos
If you havent done this ride before, Go! It is un-freakin'believable! Most bike shops in the area have meet-ups and ride-ins organized in advance, I'd check around and see if you can't get in an organized group. It's helpful, especially if you've never been. Rob Mexico
I went last year. I prefer to go with my own small group. I got the invite from Patriot already. I don't remember what time they leave though.

That's cool, when I go it's much easier for me to go with a big group,I like the police escorts.

It doesn't get over crowded? Pretty much just a place to meet up and ride to the parking lot?
Capt. Kaos
We meet up at Frederick Harley. Hang out for a bit and then saddle up for the ride to the pentagon. It's a police escorted ride so there's not much worry of getting pulled apart or vehicles breaking in to the line. As far as overcrowded, nah, it's not so bad. I was much more concerned with the ride from the pentagon.
MikeSellers45
I have been going to Rolling Thunder for as long as I can remember. My dad and his friend have taken my brothers and I down since we were little and it is a tradition for us now. My uncle used to ride in it every year but he passed away in May of 02. One of these years I would like to ride in it to honor all of our veterans and my uncle.
