rebornempowered
I always wanted to see a drop kick in a game and today I got my wish. Thank you Flutie Flakes!!!! Next obscure rule to be used (that I haven't seen since Landry did it). Free Kick for a field goal after a fair catch or awarded fair catch. Oh yeah, and I think the Skins made the playoffs. :point2sky :helmet: :helmet: :point2sky
RedskinsOP
I did not even know you could do a drop kick, just like in rugby. It is worth 3 points, right? I would not be surprised if this became one of those next 'big things' like Peyton Manning with the no-huddle this year. Still, Flutie has mega balls for attempting it. rebornempowered
It was for an extra point. Somewhere Jim McMahon is really ticked at Mike Holmgren for not letting him do it years ago.

I too share rebornempowered's excitement and I'm going to record this baby. I'd love to see the fair catch/free kick too. AWESOME!

There was a pre-game special on it when McMahon was the back up in Green Bay. Fair catch/free kick rule is that after a fair catch or an awarded fair catch you can do a "free kick" from the spot of the fair catch. If it goes through the uprights it is 3 points.
