Yeah I manage an art gallery which mostly consist of glass. The retail on the piece was $19,750.00. A chihuly this size would have been like in the hundreds of thousands. Yeah the influence is Morano and Venetian glass blowers from hundreds of years ago. Its really a cool story. Italian govn't made the glass blowers go to the Island of Murano because they were afraid the glassblowers would burn down towns and villages. Now back to the Man Of War, alot of this is influenced by Dale Chihuly who gets his influencs from Venetian.
