I think Abraham was involved as was Lemont Jordan and 2 #1 picks... you know what, we won the deal from the Portis/Bailey perspective but when you add the 2nd round pick in there along with the fact that we are strapped to Portis contract wise and we are not 100% sure he is Gibbs type of back it makes you wonder.... Maybe the #1 priority for the off seaon is to get a GM with full personnel control. I seriously question if Gibbs has the ability to handle the job. Anywho... a pass rushing DE, 2 big pounding runners in Jordan and Betts and two more 1st round draft picks as well as our 2nd rounder just was not sexy enough for Gibbs, Synder et al. Oh well...
