thew Posted May 22, 2004 Share Posted May 22, 2004 In a maneuver reminiscent of Bill Clinton the Pentagon held a 4:30 pm press conference on Friday to late for the evening News shows or the Newspapers to announce that rather than 24 deaths of prisoners they are now claiming 36. Also they released details about the 12 deaths they were originally attributed to natural causes. Natural causes included suffocation due to chest compression and DVT ( Deep Vein Thrombosis) due to restricted blood flow, causing clotting. Basically the Pentagon’s new details showed that 35 of the 36 deaths were caused by over zealous interrogators. The one outlier was cause by a bullet from an interrogators pistol and has been judged justifiable homicide to prevent an escape. Sounds like something out of Hogan's Heroes episode.
