Dexter's Better
With Mike Williams being held out of the draft does this open the door for a possible trade? Lets assume for a second Washington was shopping Player XXXXX and lets assume for a second a team was interested in getting said player, however they wanted a Stud WR (Mike Williams) and viewed the asking price for said player as "to high" with Williams available. Now does that price seem reasonable? It would be possible to TRADE the #2 (or #4) pick in the draft for XXXXX player -- and if Mike Williams is made elligible take him in the supplimental draft. It would be a massive improvement to an offense. Just something to think about. P.S. - My thinking is Davis will trade down 2 times. From #2 - #4 and out of #4. Unfortunately, this isn't likely going to be the case. In all likelihood, all teams would expect San Diego to forfeit their #1 next year and take Williams' in the supplemental draft, since they have first crack at him. w33dh0l3
Actually, they don't neccessarily have first crack at Mike Williams. The NFL Supplemental Draft uses a lottery system similar to the NBA's Draft. San Diego will get 32 ping pong balls, and Oakland 31, etc. Its feasible that the Redskins get the first shot at Mike Williams.
SkinzFan007
Not any more W33dhol3. It used to be done by lottery but now its in order of records.
