A single ticket sold in Virginia won its owner the 230-million-dollar lottery jackpot Winning ticket sold for 230-million-dollar US lottery jackpot WASHINGTON (AFP) - A single ticket sold in the southern US state of Virginia won its owner the 230-million-dollar Mega Millions lottery jackpot, lottery officials said. The jackpot for Friday's drawing was the largest since the multistate lottery's name was changed from the Big Game in May 2002. The lottery holds the record for the largest jackpot in US history, 363 million dollars, offered in May 2000. The winning numbers were 1-13-20-21-30 and the Mega-Ball of 24.
