Rabblerouser
Right after I read the first article on Gray this one came out. Sorry:doh: http://customwire.ap.org/dynamic/stories/F/FBN_BILLS_GRAY?SITE=NYBUE&SECTION=HOME Jan 16, 3:09 PM EST Bills Retain Gray As Defensive Coordinator ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- New Buffalo coach Mike Mularkey is keeping defensive coordinator Jerry Gray on the Bills' coaching staff. "Jerry has done an outstanding job with our defense and last year's league rankings are a good measure of his abilities as a defensive coordinator," Mularkey said on Friday. Under Gray, the Bills ranked second in defense this season and allowed the fifth-fewest points per game. Gray has been Buffalo's defensive coordinator since 2001. Dick LeBeau, who was Buffalo's assistant head coach, accepted an offer to become the defensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday. Mularkey was hired Wednesday, replacing Gregg Williams, who was fired after going 17-31 in three seasons with Buffalo, including 6-10 this season. Mularkey has hired former Pittsburgh quarterbacks coach Tom Clements to replace Kevin Gilbride as offensive coordinator, and picked former Giants offensive line coach Jim McNally for the same spot with the Bills.
