manchild157 Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 Read an article in the Sunday sports section about the league wide shortage of sacks this year, down 108 sacks from last year at this time. Seems that teams have had games where they will register a bunch of sacks(like we did against Jags) and then trail off into mediocrity. Reason for lack of sacks lies in new league rules by calling more closely hands-on from dbacks and after 5 yds as well as the overall change of offense schemes using the 3 step drop and getting the ball out of their hands before the pressure comes.
