MidPennSkin
How about we have a little patience with Snyder, Spurrier, and the team? Things could be a whole lot worse than to be in a rebuilding year with an owner who really wants to win a superbowl, and is willing to spend whatever it takes to do it. We could be fans of the Detroit Lions, or New Orleans Saints, or any of the 15 NFL teams who have NEVER won even one superbowl. We’ve won 3, only exceeded by San Francisco and Dallas, who have won 5, and Pittsburgh who has won 4. There have been 37 superbowls, but only 17 teams have ever won one of them. Snyder and Spurrier are smart guys, they will get it right eventually. Not this year, but pretty soon. They are learning. In the meantime, lets let them sort it out without freaking out every time some media nitwit makes up some story about how the team and coaching staff are falling apart. Just thank God our team isn’t owned by the Bidwells, who will never win a superbowl (and they’ve owned the team since 1933, so don’t hold your breath until they sell it). Here’s the record on what teams have won superbowls, and how many. Only 8 teams have won superbowls since we have. We’ll get there again, just not this year. Blondie
I have said before........ Pain is relative. It is all about perspective. Blondie
Canadian Hog
I think what frustrates so many people is the fact that the team fails to meet the high expectations that are always set. If we were progressing closer and closer to a championship things wouldn't be so hard for us, but that's just not the case right now.
PCS
Ah yes. The dreaded expectations.
