DeathByLinebacker Posted October 20, 2003 Share Posted October 20, 2003 The Oakland Raiders lost four straight to drop from 4-0 to 4-4 and looked like they were in real trouble with a seemingly tough second half schedule. Obviously they righted the ship and finished 11-5 and made the big game. The NY Jets started 2-5, 3 games behind Miami who they had already lost to, before Herm Edwards reminded them that they play to win the game. They ended up AFC East champs. The Tenn Titans started 1-4 and were 3-4 after 7 games before winning the AFC South and making the AFC Title Game. The Cleveland Browns and New York Giants also both made the playoffs after 3-4 starts. Nothing is over 7 weeks in. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All these teams had good ESTABLISHED quarterbacks who were protecting them. Ramsey is still learning and getting killed in the process. Skins26 Posted October 20, 2003 Share Posted October 20, 2003 GREAT STUFF DEATHBYLINEBACKER! This is all very true. Nothing is over 7 weeks in. Despite what some thing we are slowly getting better in some aspects, we picked up a few blitzes last week. Hit some deep ones. Good stuff.
