If They Fire Jim Zorn Mid-Season, Sherman Lewis Should Get The Nod

I may be in the minority, but I liked bringing on Sherman Lewis. Dan Rooney pushed for the Rooney Rule after seeing Sherman Lewis being passed over for a head Coaching position, but prior to Dungy, Green, Edwards, and Rhodes, Sherman Lewis was a fantastic Offensive Coordinator who steered the Packers and the 49ers twice to Superbowl victories.

Though, he is not the firey hire that a Mike Singletary would bring, he is further from a Jim Zorn type and closer to a Singletary, so I like it.

I think Sherman Lewis is the key to letting Jim Zorn go mid-year versus waiting until January. It also gives Sherman Lewis time to show what he can do with what he has which would go a long way to getting to keep the job in January.
