BFresh Posted September 17, 2009 Share Posted September 17, 2009 Hey Guys first thread here. Are our coaches limiting the progress in player development on our football team? I've seen a few threads and comments here and there giving a not "unleashing" our offense. Or not calling plays that are to the strengths of our players. If that were the case, do rookies come here with a coaching staff dissasaociated with players input which in turn, sets them up with a specific system that does not showcase the God given talent they were drafted for? As well, for veterans to hit pay dirt and come here to grind out the final stretch of their career? On the other hand, it could just be that our scouting group over-evaluated players. Or they were talented enough to be great, but totally misused. Which could lead to these players not getting the chance to be picked up by another team because they were never given the chance to prove themselves. This leads back to us because it gives us very little chance to develop a player well enough for a 1st or 2nd round draft trade. The last players we developed were Champ Bailey and Antonio Pierce (FA). Just want to know all your thoughts on this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
