Do you believe in some form of afterlife of "self" after death?

For purposes of this poll "afterlife" is defined as some sort of preservation of "self", i.e. individuality/personality, after death.

Please chose YES if you believe that some form of "self" is preserved.

Please chose NO if you believe there is a loss of "self". Maybe your essence will mix back into some huge pool of universal energy, or maybe you'll keep being alive in memory of others, through your deeds, children, etc. Yes nothing is lost forever, and even a little squished bug has a kind of afterlife by influencing events of the future in however small way... Please select NO for those kinds of afterlives.
