JimmiJo Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Not to be a negative nancy, but "fantastic" depth at safety isn't exactly the word I would use. I wouldn't feel 100% comfortable with either Doughty or Moore starting, and Horton has to avoid 2nd year blues (though I think he will). Our LB core is very strong with the addition of Orakpo, but we lack any sort of depth at the position. Corner will hinge on the play of D'Angelo Hall and if he can return to his half of a season form from last year. Neither Tryon or Barnes has proved they are ready to play at this level. I love this defense, but I think it's a very fragile unit. Not to be a positive pete, but I have to say safety is the one position that is set with this team.
