gobigred
I was wanting everyone's input on the media pushing certain coaches and other good coaches never are heard of again.ex. Sam Wyche, Dan Reeves.Bobby Ross(I know he is up in age but hell so was Joe) Last Year we heard about Mike Singaltary, Ron Rivera, Mike Martz to name a few now we hear nothing about their names even being considered. I think all good coaches that express interest should have a chance. In the NFL it seems to be the other way around. Where the team approches you. The college draft is the same way media pumps up some players and others they don't. I just think media influences to many aspects of our lives and they are usually wrong. I look at Dennis Green he was a good coach and now is made a joke of in the media, why because he was pissed off because he saw that his team had a chance to make a turning point as a team and messed it up and now he may never get back in the league. Dr. Redskin
I think what you are trying to say about coaching candidates is a chicken vs egg theory. Does the media focus on particular candidate because they deem them to be popular or are the candidates qualified and being looked at and therefore brought up by the media?
