The plan right now is to provide features differing from my school's official website for athletics, and ofcourse, forums for discussion. I was wondering if anyone here knew any legal issues that I'll need to look into regarding creating a fansite. One question in particular I was hoping to find an answer to: What are the legal issues regarding using news stories from other sources on my website? For instance, would I be allowed to use a news story from my school's official website provided I reference where the story is originally located with a link? Thanks for any help.
