while on the subject of interviews

there have been more than a few threads ccomplaining about ML's presence/attitude during interviews. but not much has been said about SOS.

After having watched an entire preseason/season of Sonny/George interviews with SOS I have noted the following:

- he often looks like he'ld rather be anyplace other than in the interview

- he repeatedly answers with the same stock "we have to pitch and catch better....this, that and the other thing..." in other words, he really doesn't have that much of substance to pass on when you add it all up

they aren't bad interviews....they're just not particularly interesting/informative or engaging.

He's always been like that in interviews. He doesn't have the kind of personality that enjoys sitting around answering questions. I really think if it was up to him he wouldn't talk to the media very much at all.

Th....just suggesting that in this, as in other things, there appears to be a double standard for ML vis SOS....nothing major

i agree with the double standard... but i think that people are reading *way* too much into interviews... Spurrier and ML would have the same demeanor win or lose, IMO... it just so happens that the team is losing, so people look more into it... it's stupid...
