kaffeen Posted November 29, 2002 Share Posted November 29, 2002 For all the $$$ and talent on this big mouth defense (who BTW seems to do nothing but grumble, whine, and complain about everyone but themselves most of the time) to be able to hold the cowgirls to under 20 points should not be a problem. The Cowgirls do not have a bad defense (ninth in the NFL I believe). They do have a terrible offense (um, last?). The last place offense beat our talented but extremely under performing defense and that is simply the most predominant reason this game was a loss. 20 points on that defense is not a bad night. 27 on our defense is. Granted you win as a team and lose as a team, but IMHO the defense deserves a butt whipping this week. A little tit for tat. If they are going to play the blame game, they need to take the responsibility for tonight's loss and step up like the offense has the past couple of weeks.
