McMetal
Why would the DC have any motive to screw over one of his players? The $$$ counted the same against the salary cap either way. Sour grapes. Surprised his agent wasn't a Poston...
TheDane
Let me get this straight. This Curry guy is convicted of fraud in 1996, yet our own coach Jerry Gray still gives Curry a good recommendation? That better not be true. I don't want someone with such questionable moral character as a ****ing assistant coach on this team. Well, if not questionable moral character then at least extremely questionable judgement. Aston
I wouldn't read too much into it. They both went to school together so he recommended his name to someone. No big deal.

You're kidding, right? If you found out your friend committed fraud, you would still recommend your friend to someone else?
nightbird
Don't be so quick to say it's not a big deal. If McGee is respected in the Buffalo locker room, how do Clements and Fletcher-Baker feel about Jerry Gray? (not that I want us to sign either of them)
Jahbird
There is another article on NFL.com about this http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/BUF/10012129

Thought he may not have been aware about the conviction, I seemed to have missed that paragraph the first time around. According to Sampson, he did.In that case, yes, if this is true, then this is more of a big deal than expected. Can't wait to hear his statement. smitty71
This will lead to Gray being fired, I hope. If he recommended a guy convicted of fraud he deserves to be canned!
