Donation drive for those folks in Mt. Airy that lost their homes.

The town of Mt. Airy are asking for any who wish to help the four families that lost their homes to send any donations to the following address. If you wish to donate, please read the following information.

"Our community shares in the sense of loss for the families whose homes were

destroyed by fire in the Twin Arch Crossing housing development in Mount Airy late Tuesday afternoon. The Town has received many calls asking how to help. An account has been established to collect donations for these families. Monetary donations can be given to the families through the New Windsor State Bank.

Checks should be made payable to “Family Fire Fund”, and can be dropped off or mailed to Mount Airy Town Hall, 3 North Main Street, P.O. Box 50, Mount Airy, MD 21771 or dropped off or mailed to New Windsor State Bank, 1001 Twin Arch Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
