Novus Posted November 19, 2006 Share Posted November 19, 2006 Watching the underachieving REDSKINS this year definitely makes me wonder if the success of last years team was even more of an amazing accomplishment than first thought. Maybe this team just doesn't have the talent or skill level of being playoff caliber? And if so, last year was definitely a testament to the heart and character on both the coaching and player standpoint. This year, that spark that carried last years team almost to the NFC championship just doesn't seem to be there. Of course, it could also have to do with the parody of today's NFL. It's so tough to establish a consistent winning team year in and year out. Makes the few franchises who do happen to always be in the playoff hunt every year more impressive.
