NattyLight
Morning, My buddy wants to sell / ship his car to buyer in Belgium and I just wanted to see if anybody knew the process in order to do so from the American side of the house. Any help is greatly appreciated. Peace, Natty
Sarge
Find a company (Matson is good, although I don't know if they ship to Europe). Ask them where they ship from/to and how much. Drop your vehicle off, probably at Baltimore, or ask the nearest place to drop it. For an aadditional fee they may come pick it up. He'll need ID, registration and proof of insurance. There will be a mutual vehicle inspection with you and a company rep that will take about a half an hour
Coooleeey
If he is selling the vehicle on craigslist its a very good possibility he may be scammed.
NattyLight
Thanks Sarge, but that company only goes to Hawaii and Guam. Also, he's not being scammed he's selling it to a member of his automotive messageboard.

I imagine the procedure is about the same though
