stroupjr
I think our offensive game plan, and game day performance, has been night and day when comparing playing against AFC and NFC teams. It seems like Al Saunders has a much higher comfort level against familiar teams in the AFC where he would face these teams much more often when he was coaching with the Chiefs. When his offensive statistics landed them the best in the league, it was mainly against teams in their conference. I know it is early in the season, but it just seems to me like the Skins are much more prepared/confident against the AFC than the NFC. In games against Houston, the Chiefs rang up 42 and 45 points in 03 and 05, and facing Tennessee, the Chiefs took them behind the tool shed for 49 points in 2004. By comparison, they lost to both the Cowgirls and the Giants last year. I know only time will tell, but I think this is something to look for during the season. allskinz
How about Saunders calls the plays versus AFC teams and Gibbs calls the plays versus NFC teams. Let me call Danny Boy and make that suggestion..
