TC Posted September 18, 2006 Share Posted September 18, 2006 It seems to me that the only way Brunell is getting benched is if he rapes a small child or suddenly stops "working so hard". Gibbs has reiterated time and time again that Brunell is a "hard worker", and he's known for his loyalty to players. What really sucks is that the Texans are terrible and if we win Brunell will milk another few starts out of it. I was suprised last year when Brunell took over for good, so I am holding out a glimmer of hope for JC to start next week. I personally can't see Brunell getting yanked, however. In the meantime, us fans need a backup plan. I was hoping it woudn't come down to this, but.....We're going to need someone in the DC area to kidnap Brunell and keep him in his/her basement for a few months. I would do it myself, but I'm in SC and can't really take off work to get up there this week. I realize this may be tough to pull off.
