ouvan59
PROBLEM SPOT: The search for quality backups at both tackle slots is not going as smoothly has hoped. Jonta Woodard is off to a slow start. He's having trouble getting off the ball and has been susceptible to quick power moves on the inside. Jim Molinaro needs to hasten his progress this preseason as well. He's working as the No.2 left tackle, but has not consistently shown the quickness or athletic ability that is essential for that spot. Tyson Walter and Ikechuku Ndukwe are solid as backup guards. But Jim Jones and Kili Lefotu are struggling with their setups, footwork and technique. Good to hear that Walter and Ndukwe have looked solid. Now we just need a backup tackle to step up. SkinsDukes
I take that as good news that at least some of our O-line depth is looking good. Once cuts start coming we can likely find a decent veteran tackle if needed. I have confidence we can find one experienced vet after cuts, but if we needed two or three I'd be worried.
