SkinsD Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 I've been considering entering a seminary and was wondering whether anyone here has taken the idea of a religious vocation or currently is in one? If so what did you consider, what is seminary like, what do you think of it today? I'm Catholic so I'd have to remain celibate which is pretty much the only thing holding me back. HSF Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 I lived down the street from a convent and I actually went to talk to the Mother Superior about joining. The nuns at that convent took care of the sick. It definitely requires dedication and commitment. Have you thought about becoming a Eucaristic Minister instead?
