kaffeen
As a testament to be careful what you wish for, Spurrier is now the big underdog he wanted to be again...... http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/odds.html
Muskrat
From my football pool standpoint, I prefer it when the Skins are underdogs...I ALWAYS pick them(only team I do that with..), so when they win..they definitely cover!
GrapeApe
Those are some pretty big lines for NFL games. Lots of 7's and 8's up there. One 9 and one 12. Only three games under 6. Should be a good week for picking games straight up.

SwampSkin
Originally posted by THiTo48 how does that o/u work? never understood it... If the over/under is 45, and you bet over, you are saying the two teams combined will score over 45 points. So, if you take the under, then you believe the combined score will be less than 45. It kinda' depends...but if you're betting with someone other than your buddy, it is a push, and pushes go to the house or the bookie....a lot of those lights in Vegas get paid by pushes.
