What I mean by that is like, when do the fans find out who will be starting next year? For Example...My buddy and I are huge Brunell fans (I know the man has his flaws, but we couldn't have made it as far as we've had if it wasn't for him) and I gather that Dan Snyder and Joe Gibbs are going to start evaluating who they want to start at QB...So does anyone know the exact processes of the offseason...I really Appreciate it!!! rvan1 Posted January 16, 2006 Share Posted January 16, 2006 ok, so nothing really starts until after the pro bowl. after that, there is a free agency period where teams decide to sign free agents or let theirs go. retired players usually choose to leave at this time. following the FA period, there is the draft in late april. after the draft, teams usually cut players by june that they dont need/cant afford or what not. then, preseason begins in julyish and the position battles are usually settled by late august.
