ChicagoRedskinsFan Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 The air smells fresher. The sun shines brighter (even though it has been overcast all week). There's a bounce in my step. I wake up happy to be alive. Usually the first week after the holidays is a bummer. But not for me. Not after Christmas came on January 1st. I know everyone is talking about the game on Saturday - predictions, concerns, etc. and that's fine. But I am just enjoying this time, come what may. Last week I was a nervous wreck having nightmares about what might happen against the Eagles (they came true - for awhile). This week I am at peace with the world and daydreaming about the possibilities. The losses this season have lost their sting, the wins mean more than ever, and Cowboys fans are nowhere to be found.
