ADF Posted January 2, 2006 Share Posted January 2, 2006 I got the impression that he was simply saying that the play was almost a two yard lost. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't think he was actually critiquing the play design or play call. The only reason he used the word "design" is because the guy who asked the question used it. He was trying to be funny. If the reporter had simply asked what happened on the second TD run, he would have simply stated that they almost lost 2 yards on the play but made something out of it.
