beaves
Are we giving defenses a chance to predict our next move? Do we always need to strive for that balance between run and pass? :eaglesuck
DonkeyTeeth
I don't think we have to strive for it, but its usually a sign of a well-executed game by the whole team. The coaches have to react to what happens once the whistles are blown - field position, matchups, injuries - all these things can affect the playcalling. Our playcalling hasn't been so bad that teams can predict when we'll run or pass based on how many of the opposite type of play we've called. We need to find more things we can execute consistently in both the passing and running games, and then it'll be easier to catch teams off-guard with different formations, etc.
