LiveStrongSkins
Say we have the best division record even though we lose other games. Do we still win the NFC east? I'm pretty sure we dont but my friend said we would. Say a tem goes 0-10 but wins all 6 division games... what does that mean?
LaVar=BEAST
Goes by overall record....division record is used for tiebreaker and playoff seeding after overall record.
Erigion
It means they're 6-10 and have no chance of making the playoffs unless every other team in their division finishes at 6-10 or worse.

You won't need to be concerned about winning the division or having the best record within the division. Having said that, the division record only matters if you are tied with a divisional opponent and split games with them.
ChicagoRedskinsFan
Wouldn't it be another cruel irony to have a winning record in our division and still miss the playoffs. In recent years, the skins were terrible in their division and decent in other games. Just another way in which we can't get it together all in the same season.
