In this modern era of football, you don't have a 1st round pick sitting on the bench. We were not that good last year so that means any pick in the 1st round is suppose to help our team right away. Let's see what he can do, build momentum around him, and surround him with threats in addition to Santana. [Taylor Jacobs is not going to cut it. That experiment should end after 1 game.] P.S. And, while you are at it coach, please please address our lack of pass rush in the offseason. You blew it by not drafting Shawn Merriman or DeMarcus Ware. You could have even stuck it to our division rival and signed Burgess (a local product at that).
