peachhaze Posted November 14, 2005 Share Posted November 14, 2005 They are usually caused by getting to the qb and causing havoc. Look at what defenses do to Brunell. As they pass by him being blocked, they swipe at the ball. It either causes a fumble or messes up his timing to cause an interception. Simeon Rice from TB caused both yesterday. NY Giants, KC, etc... all did the same thing. Our defense cannot get to the qb to cause that. So, we don't get the short field. Salvea did it once yesterday, but we haven't seen that all season.
